CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
We offer a Christ-centered Children's Ministry here at EBC. We offer something for every age child.
SUNDAY MORNING
Children's Sunday School
Age specific lessons are taught in the classes each week. Our goal is to team with parents to instill Biblical principals in the little ones while showing them that God loves them and so do we.
Children's Church
Children from ages 4-9 gather for children's worship in the Children's Wing. This is a time filled with Bible lesson, craft, music, and of course fun! Children's Church is not required for this age group if parents would like for their child/children to be in regular worship services.
Children's Choir
The goal of this ministry is to teach children the value of worship through music while ministering to others and exalting Jesus. Children's Choir performs weekly in the regular Sunday morning worship.
WEDNESDAY
Children in Action (CIA)
Children in Action is a missions discipleship organization for boys and girls in grades 1-6. This year the theme is The Greatest Task on Earth - Unshakable Faith!! CIA meets every Wednesday from September until May at 6:30. Children actively earn badges all year long to be given out at the end of the year at a special recognition service. Class does not meet June, July or August.
Mission Friends
In Mission Friends, preschoolers (3 and 4 year olds) through kindergarten move from a focus on self to a focus on others. Through engaging lessons and activities, they begin to learn how they can help others in need and share God’s love. This critical foundation in the lives of preschoolers will help them grow spiritually into the next generation of Christ followers who will fulfill His Great Commission.
Mission Friends meetings include activities in music, art, blocks, nature, home living and more.Creative games and mission stories are included to help establish missions awareness and involvement. Class does not meet June, July or August.
ON GOING
Led by our Director of Children's Ministries, an event or gathering is planned almost each month. Such events may include movie nights, game nights, and skating parties. Seasonal events may also include Vacation Bible School, an Easter egg hunt, and Trunk or Treat.
